He was a very encouraging individual. He talked to us about inhibitions, specifically fear. Fear is a natural feeling, but of course his gist was the very act of taking the step of conquering fear. Why should we be stopped in our paths by fear? I love these big moments. I live for these moments. I love doing something regardless of how scared I get. Makes me feel nice and good. I just feel accomplished. Even if things don’t go the way I plan or want to. Even if things fail. It’s just the spirit of it. Feels like it builds character. I’m a humanistic person, valuing human values and concerns. I like when people do something that means a lot to them or something important to them. I just want people to live to their fullest and not be put in their spots by fear. It touches me and motivates me and inspires me when i see some story about some courageous act or some heartening act. Whether it be conquering fear or doing something important to themselves. People should respect themselves. Being given life is a privilege and a gift. Make the most out of it. Do what makes you happy. Do what you feel is right, to you and to others. The important part is taking the step, not freezing in front of the mental wall.
I don’t want to live a life of mental barriers, powered by fear.
